Marcia Patterson Named Chief Executive Officer of Valley View Medical Center

FORT MOHAVE, Ariz. (April 23, 2026)– Valley View Medical Center announced today that Marcia Patterson, DNP, MSN, RN has been named chief executive officer, effective April 27.

Patterson currently serves as chief nursing officer at Valley View Medical Center and brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to the role. She has a strong background in clinical and executive leadership and is known for her focus on quality, patient safety and team engagement.

“Marcia is a respected leader who brings both clinical expertise and operational insight to this role,” said Bob Barrett, division president of Lifepoint Health’s western division. “She has played an important role in advancing quality and strengthening our care teams at Valley View. We are confident in her ability to lead the hospital forward and continue building on its strong foundation.”

Patterson joined Valley View in 2023 and has been instrumental in enhancing clinical operations, supporting nursing leadership and fostering a culture centered on patient care and safety. Her leadership experience includes serving as chief nursing officer at hospitals in Tennessee, New Mexico and Texas, along with earlier roles in direct patient care and clinical leadership.
